bill nye? not so much....

i'm loving teaching part time. i only have two classes and there are a lot of great kids in them (even the ones who tried to take the snake out of the cage!) on the first day after going over all the class policies, etc. i had every student tell me their name and something random about them that would help me remember who they were. there were lots of hilarious stories...one of my favs was from a girl who broke her middle finger over the summer and had to have a splint put on it so she was flipping the bird for an entire two weeks straight!
